Snow condition
Actually, 4 stars are easily possible, but the wind has already blown off all the crests. Sometimes we also had a few stone contacts over 2000m. However, this does not count for gullies etc.. Below 1500m it gets less and less and the bushes gain back some space.
Snow quality
Very mixed, I have to say. In some places (the wind-influenced ones) there is a lot of hard snow and in others even ice or extremely compacted snow. BUT it still exists ... yes, the good old Pow ... but it's mostly south-east-facing and still looks good. Otherwise there is actually everything ... above 2000m there is still powder below rather heavier snow or partly also pressed snow.
Risks
We had a nice gully in mind today ... Everything looked good until we got there BUT when we inspected the gully it was immediately clear that it was far too dangerous. Some of the pockets had already fallen off during the inspection and so we unfortunately had to call off our plan. However, everything around the gullies should be safe.
Overall impression
Very cool day ... why? Awesome people and above all we hadn't expected the pow that was actually still to be found. Nenzigas is still fun too!!!
