Generally good, but on ridges, crests, terrain transitions, etc., stones hide treacherously under the fresh snow. Descent on the forest road to Langen still possible with 3-4 short unbuckling times, will probably become more quickly with the predicted warmth.
Snow quality
In the touring area around Eisentalerspitzen approx. 15 - 20 cm of fresh snow, no wind, great powder on the north side. Above approx. 1800 there is fresh snow on soft old snow, further down on very hard old snow. Sunny exposures either covered or already with some firn.
