Snow condition
All descents are possible. Even in the valley there is still plenty of snow. Rock contact or anything like that is not to be expected, the slopes are full of snow like they haven't been for years. unfortunately, a few descents are not possible due to sliding snow chutes and the like.
Snow quality
The snow quality is very good on the shady slopes. Where the sun has already reached, the snow is naturally heavy and no longer fluffy. The wind has also transported a relatively large amount of snow.
Risks
The warning in the report about accumulating drift snow is justified. We also kicked off a few smaller slides today. Nothing on a scale that is really dangerous, but bombproof is different
Overall impression
For almost leaving the beacon at home this morning, the day was surprisingly good.
