Snow report Sun head, 03/12/2016

Off-piste skiing on the Arlberg. Similar to German yesterday, we decided on a tour around the Arlberg today. The cold temperatures have noticeably preserved the snow.

I have no complaints in our current area. No blown-off ridges, the probe (240cm) could be lowered to the top in both places above the tree line. Descending to 1100m was possible without any rock contact. However, the terrain was not a classic south-facing slope with lots of sunlight. Keep up the good work!

A disaster on the south side. Covered, hard and icy - you only do this for the approach. However, the north-facing slopes still have very good snow. Rime has formed on the surface in some places. In itself very good to ski.

Risks

We took the 2 today. Felt safe on slopes over 40°. However, there are a few slides and sliding snow cracks in all expos.

Good weather, good snow, great variant. Keep up the good work. Even if the winter isn't the best, the season is getting better and better! I'm having fun!
