We were on the Eisenthaler on the Soko today. There's enough snow for everyone from the mountain station onwards. In general, there is an above-average amount for this time of year. Only below 1200m could it be scarce in the forest, but you don't usually ski there. But above 2000m, even most of the rocks are still well covered.

If I only rated our main lines, it would be a very good 3, because at 2100m it fluctuates between powder, ice and slush. Further down you only find powder with a lot of luck. But there is still plenty on the north-facing slopes. Even in the sun, there was still very nice snow in some places. However, the descent into Nenzigas is extremely slushy.

Risks

We could observe an avalanche and a south-facing slope, which was not exactly small but far away from us. In general, I would consider the Eisenthaler to be very safe.

We only had 2 real powder lines, but they were all the more awesome. Even steep slopes can be enjoyed on north-facing slopes with powder. And the somewhat muddy lower section didn't detract from this fantastic day.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
