Snow report Sun head, 04/09/2016
End of the season with spring-like temperatures and sunshine. Today was the last day of Litft operation.

There's not much left, but descents into shady valleys should still be possible up to a maximum of 1500 m. When it gets warm, the snow line rises quickly. There would still be some tour destinations up here, but a start of approx. 1000 m involves a fair amount of walking.
Snow quality
It was slightly frozen in the morning and softened up quickly. By lunchtime, the slopes were in great condition and very slushy. In the early afternoon it was soon deep slush.
Risks
There were a few new arrivals (departures) from the last few days, but nothing was noticeable during the day.
Overall impression
Pleasant temperatures and still attractive conditions for skiing. A nice end to the season.
