Snow condition
Nenzigas is fine! Everything above 1600m is pretty good. However, you should take a good look at the slopes, as the wind has blown off some of the steeper ones or those close to the crest. Apart from that, there is occasional rock contact, but this has become very rare. There is enough snow all the way down to Nenzigas and you can get up to around 1600m in the whole ski area, even off-piste.
Snow quality
At the top of Soko there was the finest powder today. From about 1800m onwards there was a bit of hard snow in some places, but it was really only very patchy and above all not too deep. Below 1600m the snow became a bit more compact but still very good to ski. Whether south or north, the snow was and remains good (thanks to the temperatures).
Risks
In very steep terrain (from 40 degrees) there was a lot of sluff. But we couldn't see any real avalanches anywhere. Old mouths are mainly present on south-facing slopes and can cause nasty surprises on the descent. Above 2000m we had a triple and below that a double. I'm guessing that tomorrow the 3 will be more like a 2.
Overall impression
Very cool day with sunshine, loads of powder and lots of fun. From tomorrow, however, it would be better to go on tour.
