It still takes a lot... even beyond the ski area. If you're familiar with the local area, you can see that a lot of it is covered in snow. Below about 1500m there is hard snow almost everywhere. Above that, especially in areas close to the ridges in windy areas, the snow is omnipresent.

Above 2000m it gets slow. Gullies are particularly interesting, as there is naturally a lot of snow in them. You have to be careful on ridges because of stones. On south-facing slopes it gets much less, as the sun really beats down. Below 2000 you should watch out for stones and hollows caused by bushes.

Risks

It was a 2 today above and below 2000m and I can only confirm that. Even in very steep terrain, almost nothing came off. In addition, everything seems to be slowly developing into a good base.

Very cool touring day with acceptable snow but unfortunately hardly any sun. There will certainly be plenty more tomorrow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
