Snow condition
It snowed up to about 1000m. But very little down below. Between 3 and 7 cm have significantly improved the skiing fun at altitudes between 1400 and 1800m, but forest descents or valley descents where there was hardly any snow before are not possible now.
Snow quality
7cm of powder snow on the hard surface. It's great fun to ride. It's especially good on the back! If it's too steep, you quickly hit the edge and the hard layers. Around 30 degrees is the perfect terrain with this snow.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Overall impression
Powdery New Year greetings! Cosmetically and driving-wise, the fresh snow was sorely needed. Hopefully it will stay cold now and the snow line will drop a little more in the coming days.
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
