Exposition
Snow condition
Down in the valley it has rained all the snow away. Only on the north side are descents into the valley still possible with slopes or by unbuckling again and again. However, from 1500 meters onwards, the snow cover is closed again with 5 cm on the mountain to 25 cm of fresh snow on a firm to hard base. Much of the snow has been displaced by the strong winds of the last few days
Snow quality
hard hardpack, ice and some powder, but really only in areas with absolutely no wind. Those who found them were able to enjoy a few nice turns. North side from 1700 meters
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Not quite so heickel - but still with small-scale disturbance-prone drifts to be expected
Overall impression
Started without expectations, but then found good pressed powder at 1700 - 2200 meters with some terrain overview in wind-calm slopes. Now it's time for a fresh supply of snow again
