Descents into the valley are only possible with slopes - even on north-facing forest paths below 1300 meters there are always stones and ground contact. Above 1500 meters conditions are ok.

Standard touring slopes in similar conditions. On the north side, you can still make one or two turns in set powder. Lots of wind in places.

Risks

Relaxed. Watch out for accumulations of drift snow. When temperatures rise, always take a look at the snow cornices on the summit ridges. If they come loose, you should not stand under them.

Well - it's ok for exercise in the fresh air. But if you want to find untracked trails, you'll need to allow a little more time to find them.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
