Blown backs
Variations of snow cover

in the northern part of the tannheimer tal, the descent only makes sense on one piste. at approx. 1000m there is a maximum of 5cm of powdery fresh snow, on nothing. the pistes are also quite rocky in places. there is clearly too little snow for the relevant modetour (ponten) in this area, so i changed my plans during the ascent. stone contact cannot be avoided, even with a foresighted and defensive skiing style. exposed areas are quite blown off in all expos.

Powder snow

as suspected/expected, still good pow, also in expo-s. it was quite cold again today and that was good for the snow.

Risks

No warning signs
East South-East South

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

the tiroler einser, for below 2400m, is ok. there is just too little snow for any boards or slides. even some very steep and blown-in gullies were skied today without triggering big loose snow slides or even snowboards.

Overall impression

Worse

will get worse.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
