in the valley, below average for the time of year. further up it looks very well snowed in now. if it stays this warm, it will be rather scarce in the forest and in the valleys again next weekend. stone contact was already not completely avoidable in the forest today !!!
Snow quality
well, easy come, easy go ;-) today, due to the tricky avalanche situation below the forest line. there is absolutely nothing left of the pow at this altitude. in the valley the streams are rushing, in the forest there is relatively little snow (since there is none left on the trees, it must have rained recently up to approx. 1700m high) and it's something like "pulfirn". very heavy, but well wearing, very wet and extremely slowing in sections. on the descent, around 2.30pm, it also had a light cap in the shade. yay ... it's going to be a great break tomorrow. above the forest line, all the rocks are well covered in snow and you can still see snow on the last trees. ergo, there should still be pow up there. but not so much on the south side ;-( today there was also extremely high humidity in the valley, which didn't necessarily help the snow quality.

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
i didn't see any avalanches, slabs, slides or sliding snow. there were a few small loose snow slides around the trees, but they quickly ran out. here in the eastern general foothills, i would consider the avalanche situation below the forest line to be less critical, as mentioned in the lawi. the fresh snow has settled well and is quite compact. if it freezes through today, it will have quite a stabilizing effect.
Overall impression
from tomorrow, on the sunny side and below 1,400m certainly excellent crushed snow !!!
