Ski tour to the Lumberger ridge and northern slope between the Seben and Sefenspitze peaks

Snow condition
On the hiking trail towards Bad Kissinger Hütte there was nothing at the bottom before the fresh snow of the last few days. Good enough for the ascent, the descent would certainly be no fun, but it looks relatively good at the top. Individual slopes and ridges, such as the one to the Brentenjoch, are blown off, and the situation on wind-exposed slopes is aptly described by LWD Bavaria: "Areas with waist-high drifts alternate with drifts of only a few centimetres."
Snow quality
Too damp overall, of course. Skiable down from the Lumberger Grar, but not really a pleasure. On the northern slope between Sebenspitze and Sefenspitze, the snow was actually very pleasant and even.
Risks
Wind signs as described above very clearly recognizable. Otherwise there were no anomalies on the tour, everything happened below 2000m, and even entrances at over 30 degrees felt safe.
Overall impression
Better than expected and, above all, better than staying at home. In terms of snow, a relatively good basis for the coming snowfalls if it doesn't thaw too much tomorrow and Monday.
