Snow report Tannheimer Valley, 02/06/2016
Northern exposures above 1500 meters still OK
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
There is only a little snow in the valley but with every meter of altitude there is more
Snow quality
There was of course an extreme difference between yesterday morning and today. The snow quality has suffered badly with the warmth and sun. Take rest .....in this case slopes in northern exposures. No longer powdery - light cover from the wind but still great for skiing.
Risks
I can only confirm that the avalanche report is down to level 2. A few basins and overgrown gullies are still bright with drift snow deposits - but these are usually easy to spot and avoid.
Overall impression
Was looking for the finds - it was really fun there - three stars - because it was better than expected. And a nice day with a freeride legend
