Snow condition
Poor - ascents and descents down to the valley only possible on pistes or on icy forest paths with some contact with the ground. Above the tree line, most of the snow has been blown away. Good snow can only be found in gullies.
Snow quality
Good snow in north-facing gullies and windless areas above 1500 meters. Wind and temperatures well above 0 degrees are reducing snow quantity and quality. Therefore mostly wind pressed or swampy
Risks
Where there is good snow, it's a bit tricky again. Drifting snow in steep gullies.
Overall impression
Afterwork - fresh air, some powder - summit tea! But unfortunately the Tannheimer Tal always has the worse conditions compared to the neighboring valleys.
