Exposition
Snow condition
It's really poor. Climbed up to 1400m on a forest road, where the descent was still reasonably good with one unbuckle. But with the heat, it could get worse quickly over the next few days. Some parts of the summit slope are also icy. The streams are mostly open.
Snow quality
The summit slope had already firned up, which was quite nice to ski. After that it was frozen hard and then completely slushy at the bottom.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
I couldn't observe anything critical today. With daytime warming, wet snow avalanches could probably form.
Overall impression
We urgently need snow. Otherwise, the next few days will only be possible with longer stretches of carrying.
