Snow condition
At the bottom, it will be tight on the forest road for the next few days. Too little snow in the forest to ski sensibly outside the forest trail.
Snow quality
On the border to two stars. On the east side in open terrain already an approx. 1cm thick cover from the sun. Hardly any cover on the north-east side and quite good :-) On the north side it was quite good today I suppose. Moist snow below 1500 meters.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: strong
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Heavy snow drifts, on higher mountains you can see very well from a distance that the snow cover has structure. Due to the warming, steeper ventures were too tricky for me today. According to the LLB and my assessment, tomorrow will be much more settled.
Overall impression
Quite nice :-) For really good powder you would have had to be out and about in the morning today. According to the current weather forecast, touring will soon shift to higher and shadier tours. Hopefully this will also calm down the avalanche situation.
