Time for spring tours - this means that the valley regions are becoming more and more green. When descending into the valley, you should always be prepared for open sections and may need to unbuckle for a short time. Preferably the last part of the tour should be on forest paths or ski slopes. There is still more than enough snow on the mountain.

Snow quality

5 von 5 Sterne

Yesterday it rained a bit during the night. Snow line at about 1400 meters where some white snow was added. On the mountain above 2000 meters, 5cm of fresh snow was added. The foehn wind is transporting it there. With light wind lids but great to ride in places. Where the sun could really shine on it, the few centimeters of fresh snow became braking snow.

Risks

For the Allgäu cold today the LWS 2 for Tyrol LWS 3 I'm clearly heading towards LWS 3. Due to the foehn wind - beware of drift snow accumulations on steep slopes above the tree line. These are usually easy to spot.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Better as expected - nice untracked line found therefore 3 stars. Precipitation in the form of snow is forecast again - then the cards will be reshuffled.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
