Snow condition
The piste at the Wannenjochbahn is bare at the bottom, it looks like you have to carry 200-300m, but we didn't do it. On the descent from Gaishorn, the snow cover on the piste is quite thin in many places, but you can make it quite far with 2-3 unbuckles and a few scratches. At the bottom you then have to carry for about 20 minutes. The piste at the Rohnenspitze still runs perfectly down to the valley and will certainly stay that way for a while. After the piste to Zirleseck, it's a bit thin in some places in the forest, but it's still going well at the moment. other observations in this regard: Füssener Jöchle still seems to go down into the valley and there's still skiing on the Iseler.
Snow quality
Swamp, hard snow and firn. We only had swamp today in the north-east traverse from Zirleseck towards Gaishorn, where it was already swampy at half past nine. The ascent to Zirleseck and Gaishorn was otherwise hard snow. On the descent from Gaishorn from 1 p.m. we had firn from the slope below the summit gully to just above Älpele. It wasn't perfect firn, would certainly have been even better later, but it was absolutely great to ski. The summit gully was hard, but grippy and homogeneous, in my opinion we were lucky with the snow quality today, on the south side it was already swampy at nine, so only 2 stars because you have to be in the right place at the right time.
Risks
A slide came from the eastern slopes of the Zerrerköpfle at about half past one, the cornice had previously broken off at the top. Nothing observed apart from warming problems. Apart from that, slipping away on the summit slope of the Gaishorn today or being hit by ski tourers sliding away was another more or less serious danger
Overall impression
Super tour, apart from the rather poor snow conditions at the bottom, there is nothing to complain about
