Tour Gaishorn with appendix Start and end point with skis at the Tannheim parking lot. On Saturday and Easter Sunday there was a total of 5 cm in the valley and 20 cm on the mountain. Partly compacted by the wind but great to ski with a bit of speed.

Pefecto - as Powder Guidler "htg_other" described, once again great conditions at least until midday. Above 1500 m - the sun and temperatures quickly made the fresh snow dull from midday.

Risks

Fresh snow came with a lot of wind, even during the day the wind was blowing strongly on the ridges. I thought for a long time about whether I should track to the summit, but a brief snow profile analysis gave me more information. No floating layers on the steep slopes in question - avoid direct drift snow accumulations on the lee side.

Almost a tradition at Easter: more powder on the Gaishorn. Great turns in the morning and afternoon on the bike or, in our case, the barbecue was fired up (-;

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
