absolutely sufficient, free choice of lines in ascent and descent, possible. at the start approx. 50cm of snow, load-bearing surface.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Firn

today, above 1600m, it didn't firn up. at least not in the expos mentioned. below that it was perfect powder snow.

Risks

No warning signs
North

Wind intensity: Extreme (> 60 km/h)

the snow cover radiated well overnight and due to the veil of clouds, from around 11am onwards, there was still enough snow in expo-s to create a load-bearing surface. it all felt pretty safe.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Better

if it had firned up, it would have been 4 stars. as it was, it was a pretty tough corrugated iron ride. with the announced pow-alert, everything will change again. hopefully winter 3.0, at least for a few days ... ;-)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
