See pictures, especially the screenshot of the webcam from just now. You currently have to unbuckle once at the departure, you can just about ski down to the valley station.

Where there used to be a slope, it was quite easy to ride. I took the entrance a little east of the summit, there was a light cover on it and I always had to jump to move. On the flatter slopes below, the snow was evenly moist and quite passable to ski, but the snow slowed me down a lot.

Risks

No observations made, currently assess the tour as uncritical. This may have to be reassessed after the rain tomorrow.

Nice to have been back on the mountain on skis, but of course it's no longer super rewarding. After the rain tomorrow, there's probably nothing left to do in the Allgäu without a stretcher or bike.Update 18.4.: Webcam still looks almost unchanged, the rain hardly seems to have affected the thin snow cover.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
