The season is not over yet ... !!! After perfect weather today, another ski tour in the eastern Allgäu foothills.

Overall impression
Snow condition
Today, in perfect weather, on the easternmost summit of the Allgäu. Snow from the parking lot, powder on the summit slope (but already quite heavy). Free choice of route possible, no grounder on the whole tour.bottom (900hm, approx. 5cm, hard, load-bearing base in the morning, with powder overlay). Summit (1400m, approx. 50cm, quite heavy powder). Not bad for the end of April ...
Snow quality
No firn on the north side yet, but everything else from powder to crushed snow.
Risks
Quite relaxed on the Buron, despite the considerable snow depth in the summit area. From the summit, I could see that both Rohnenspitze Nord and Gaishorn had been groomed. According to Lawi, I did without them today.
Overall impression
As I said, the season isn't over yet. There's definitely still something to do and I can see more powder for the coming week. Not bad for the time of year, so definitely 4 stars.
