Snow condition
Classic in the northern expositions still feasible with start at 1200 - 1400 meters on skis. So carry about 250 meters of altitude.
Snow quality
real wet ! It rained up to 1900 meters. Snow cover soaked through and therefore quite heavy. Between 2260-1900 easy to ride underneath swampy and dull. From 1600 meters again quite ok.
Risks
Mighty snow walls are still enthroned on some slopes when the heavy snow breaks off and it is better not to be there.
Overall impression
"Friday's to Nature" Relaxed after-work atmosphere on the mountain. Alone with my ski buddy on the mountain. Moderate snow conditions were good enough for a few brisk turns. Pictures (c) Martin Hölle Photography
