Snow condition
The last mountain to be climbed on touring skis (Bike&Hike) is the Gaishorn. Up to the Älpele with the bike 50 meters above the start on skis.
Snow quality
Good summer snow - really fun to ski. In the upper part there was still soaked, listen and be amazed, fresh snow !!! From 1700 meters a bit rough but downhill to the front of the bike.
Risks
It's interesting how the massive walls "neutralize" and thunder down. You should be a long way away from that.
Overall impression
The ski touring season is also coming to an end in the Tannheimer Tal. Looking back, it was a phenomenal season with lots of great tours and nice after-work runs. The mountain and bike season is now just around the corner. Pictures (c) Martin Hoelle Photography
