Morning ski tour from Unterjoch to Spieser

Snow condition
There was only one contact with the enemy on the whole tour. Snowmaking and grooming is already in full swing, so the snow conditions on the piste are very good. We made contact with the enemy on the Spiesers summit slope, where there was only about 30 cm of snow on the meadow in places, but we still only made it to the bottom once. After the tour, we skied up the slope again and from above to the right of the lift (unprepared slope) - the lower layer had already solidified well there and you could really ski the powder snow on top.Wertacher Hörnle also looks quite passable from the opposite slope, but stone skis are certainly an advantage there.Iseler and Kühgundkopf were both done yesterday by a buddy, there is probably significantly less snow there and correspondingly more ground contact.
Snow quality
Not bad, but it didn't cause any shouts of joy either. Most of the powder was a bit heavy, but it was easy to ski. Above all, the snow was much faster than on Saturday on the Sonnenkopf. The first 50 meters of the summit slope of the Spieser were wind-pressed.
Risks
Some of the steep slopes of the Jochschrofen had already slid off the surface. Apart from that, there were a lot of sliding snow mouths to be seen. However, I did not see any acute danger if the route was chosen accordingly.
Overall impression
Nice morning jaunt with a beautiful sea of fog in every direction
