More of a problem at the top than at the bottom due to the wind, there are many parts of the slope that are blown free. That's why we didn't ski the actual summit slope today. Snow has already been made on the piste, so no problem there. We also skied the slope without snow, no contact with the ground there either, and there were already ski tourers on the Wertacher Hörnle opposite, but it looked a bit as inviting as the summit slope of the Spieser.

Mainly powder, but always a bit strenuous to ski. At the top there was a layer of snow under the powder, and the amount of powder on top varied from turn to turn due to the drifts. Still fun all in all! Further down it was smoother and easier to ski.

Risks

Wind influence is certainly a problem further up. It was already clearly visible in our area, but we were able to avoid these areas.

Beautiful tour with fun descents and no contact with the ground :-)
