low (1)

Exposition

South-East South

Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne
20 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1000 m)
Descent through forest
Stone Contact avoidable

Rather poor, as expected not much snow has fallen. In the valley approx. 10cm, further up max. 40cm, in blown-in areas even more. Descent into the valley is still possible, currently also in Expo S, on suitable ground, i.e. there is not much base.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Wet snow
Powder snow

In Expo S, plus degrees today, in Expo N, it remains Pow (for now). Expo S has a cap tomorrow! Pure S, until the end of the week, probably firn.

Risks

No warning signs
East South-East

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

No avalanche activity noticed. The 1 from Lawi Bayern is OK, there is not enough snow for serious avalanches below the tree line. But be careful, snow slabs are quite possible in blown-in areas!

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Worse

Expo S, will be quite snowed out by New Year and turn into firn. There is snow from Kempten. Skiing makes sense from Wertach. Expo Nord remains Pow for the time being.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
