Snow condition
Down on the path in the forest, it's a bit tight in places. But at the moment you can still get through without unbuckling and straining your equipment. Great above.
Snow quality
Well... not so great on our tour. There were a few nice firn-like turns at the top, otherwise hard snow. It was ok to ski in the open terrain at the top, but not a pleasure. In the forest aisles it was very hard and exhausting to ski. However, we also left at 11 a.m. With more time at the back and on other, even more sun-exposed tours, there is certainly good firn to be found at the moment.
Risks
No anomalies on our tour. Had actually expected a few sliding snow slides/mouths with the current LLB. Even on the steep, direct east-facing descent, nothing was visible during the ascent and from the summit. On the Aggenstein, a large snow slide was visible on the way down.
Overall impression
Absolutely good to have been out before the next feast and great visibility. In terms of snow, our tour was not so rewarding, but there is certainly more to be had at the moment.
