Hasn't changed since muruaneq's report on Saturday. More than enough snow down to the valley (1600m)

A cauldron of color. The wind and sun were at work. Depending on the expo, slope inclination and altitude, it was everything from rock-hard, wind-pressed, heavy powder, light powder and slush. There was only nice powder on our tour in a steeper NE slope above approx. 1700m. You can certainly find more in wind-protected, shaded terrain.

Risks

The main danger certainly comes from drift snow, the fresh snow has to lie somewhere. I saw a small packet of drift snow behind an edge of the terrain (see photo), otherwise loose snow from steep, sunny terrain. Less fishmouths/sliding snow than I would have expected according to the bulletin.

A beautiful tour through a wintry landscape makes up for the very changeable snow quality.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
