Snow condition

5 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1700 m)
Descent through forest

Good in principle, plenty of snow in the higher elevations. North side up to All'Acqua also, but the south sides are already down again and for the dump from the WE rather little, felt.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Powder snow
Summer snow

4 stars with restrictions. Some really nice baller powder, but also some windswept passages. With great summer pow at the bottom under All'Uomo, but great all round!

Risks

Diurnal warming

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

None. Hardly any wind. Above 2700 it had a lid in places, but only small clods breaking out. ECT at 2560 NW without breakage. It was about 1m deep, like floating snow, and after a little lifting I had the whole block in my hand. However, this layer can hardly be triggered by skiers.

Overall impression

Great day in Bedretto. Cannalone Sudrelino unfortunately only tracks nr 2 and 3, but we could live with that. Cannalone del Marchhorn was pretty well visited, but there was still room. Lots going on in All'Acqua... but good vibes as always. Basically everything was ridden. Everything was very stable. Tomorrow will be a good day for sure.
