10 cm fresh snow

Decent snow conditions from the valley (All'Aqua) for this winter. South-facing side partly bare. No sharks.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Wind drifted snow

As expected, hardly any fresh snow here, between 5-10 cm, which has blown away due to massive westerly winds. Watch out, some of it is more ice sleet than pow flakes.

Risks

West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Drift snow. Some of the fresh snow came as drizzle.

Overall impression

Better

The weather here on the south side in Bedretto is probably a little better than in the north - but the frontal passage here today is not without loss of visibility, wind and (a little) fresh snow. Capanna Corno Gries is already fine. The snow is rather hard snow with partially blown-in islands of fresh snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
