Snow condition
Only about 30cm at the start of the valley due to all the rain last week. At the end of the valley at approx. 1600m there is a base of 1m+. Streams are still mostly open and the edges of the terrain are still uneven. Except for a tour stop due to lack of visibility at 2300m there is a good 1.5m+. Seasonal 4*.
Snow quality
Good base, topped with 15 to 20 cm of topping on a crusty base. You had to ride with feeling so that it didn't scratch. But the descent was much better than expected.
Risks
SLF issues a 3 above 1800m. We are defensive due to the visibility and move just above the tree line. No activity observed there.
Overall impression
Nice little Sunday tour in good company and a fun descent. If the weather opens up over the next few days, there will certainly be plenty of tours possible.
