35 cm fresh snow

Despite fresh snow, the snow conditions are not abundant, uneven ground is hardly leveled. Ground contact is still to be expected in places.

Powder snow

About 35 cm of fresh snow, already slightly settled and no more dust. Still nice to ride.

Risks

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Despite the storm, there were no signs of wind on the western slopes where we were traveling. On exposed peaks and at the head of the valley, there were, but also smaller drift snow packs. Apart from a small loose snow slide from steep terrain, we didn't see any fresh avalanches or any danger signs (mentioned in the bulletin). Nevertheless, I was defensive today.

Overall impression

Better

Top weather and good snow is enough for 4 stars.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
