Variations of snow cover

Just enough snow to ski down to the parking lot in Innerst. The meadow comes out again on the last sunny slope. The forest road has enough snow. The terrain looks rather modest. North-facing meadow and alpine rose terrain is okay, but even there you can often get through to the bottom. Rocky terrain is not advisable.

Powder snow

Still powder snow on the north side, but with virtually no base.

Risks

Old snow problem
West North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Below 2200m the main danger is rock contact. Further up, you have to watch out for the problem of old snow. From a distance, a snow slab crack could be seen below the Gilfert.

Equal

Good snow and fantastic weather. Unfortunately, the only thing missing at the moment is a sufficient base...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
