Epic. Dressed in white from top to bottom. 20cm of fresh snow this morning. More to come thanks to persistent snowfall.
Snow quality
Good at the top, from 500m above the valley floor damp and slowing down at temperatures around 0 degrees.
Risks
Tricky. Fresh snow is poorly bonded, especially in hard-packed and steep terrain snow slides. There are also drifts, exposed western slopes are dune landscapes and sliding snow cracks are poorly visible but still there.
Overall impression
Nice skiing in bad weather with few people and acceptable visibility. It's just best at home (sometimes).
