You can ski down to the parking lot of the valley station. At the first short snapper it is already quite thin and there is only snow on the far right edge in the direction of ascent. The detour via the forest road that bypasses this section is not much better. Today we got 2cm of fresh snow. This was not particularly helpful. The situation has worsened as a result. Yesterday you could still see the stones well, but today it wasn't so good with powdered sugar. At the last snapper before the Goriloch there is still a continuous band of snow on the far orographic right. Then better from Gori-Alm.

The wet fresh snow was somehow ok for riding today. But yesterday was better. It was really hard in the morning/evening and nice and soft in the afternoon. The snow was also really fast. So it got worse with the fresh snow.

Risks

If you stay on the piste, nothing else is particularly critical. The snow cover has been soaked through to the summit regions. Danger spots are now forming anew in the fresh snow.

Yesterday we got by with 1-2 scratches. Today there were significantly more. The lifts are no longer operating. Blank ice in places on the piste, which is now snowed in. But it's ok for a workout. Anyone planning a night ski tour here on Thursday is advised not to take their best skis. If your ascent technique is not quite up to scratch, maybe even take crampons with you. Yesterday was really icy. Today was better. Let's see how it develops.
