If you start over 800m on the north side here in Chiemgau, you can get up and down without contact with the enemy. Where the forest is denser, however, there is nothing left.

Fortunately, the old snow is frozen solid. There are 5-10 cm of fresh snow on top, which is not bad at all.
Risks
Due to a lack of visibility, I can't say anything about the situation above the tree line. Below the tree line, the helmet is more important than the beacon.
Overall impression
Surprisingly good in Chiemgau. Of course, that doesn't mean much these days. With the fresh snow tomorrow, I'm confident that winter will turn the corner again.
