Snow condition
You first have to carry your skis up to an altitude of around 1300m (northwest) before you can strap them on.
Snow quality
the snow is heavy and moist and only freezes above 1600m. The snow doesn't really have a crust, but is extremely difficult to ski on.
Risks
Numerous older avalanches have either slid directly on the ground (at lower altitudes) or on an old snow crust (higher up). However, it looked as if most of the snow that could come had already fallen.
Overall impression
Carrying your skis up to 1300m and then skiing in terrible snow is not really fulfilling. The temperatures over the next few days won't make it any better.
The ascent track is primarily used by pedestrians and is accordingly bumpy and uncomfortable.

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
