Snow condition
Since yesterday lunchtime, another 10 cm+ has been added above 1000 m. The snow conditions are currently better than ever before this winter in the Mangfallgebirge. Tours can currently be started from the valley.
Snow quality
The precipitation from midday yesterday came with lower temperatures and lies on a nice soft, slightly settled base. A dream for mid-March. Below 1000 m the snow is already getting wetter and heavier (it doesn't matter on the way up).
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
In terrain >30 degrees there is some sluff. Otherwise, we didn't find any signs of danger in the wind-protected terrain today. The precipitation often came in the form of showers today and there was almost always some sleet. LWS 3 >1500 m.
Overall impression
You simply have to make the most of these days, especially this winter. It doesn't get any better than this. Fortunately, the sun hasn't really made an appearance today and the temperatures remain low for the time being.
