Snow condition
We were out and about in the northernmost part of the Mangfallgebirge today. There was about 40 cm at 850 m, increasing towards the top. During the week, we had around 50 cm of fresh snow. At the end of February, the snow depth at the starting point was exactly 0 cm and winter was virtually over. Back then, we would never have thought that we would still be able to ski there in winter 20/21.
Snow quality
Perfect light powder snow. Absolutely top for skiing.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
A relaxed afternoon ski tour today. We were out in the terrain at around 30 degrees.
Overall impression
Where the sun has not yet made an appearance, it remains fine for the time being. Arriving at the car, the snowfall started again, just in time for the WE. A great afternoon tour in a place where we were no longer thinking about skiing and a successful start to the WE.
