Descent through forest
Covered shoes

Today we had around 5 cm of fresh snow. Due to the numerous ski tourers on the WE, the forest paths are now quite well worn and you can get back down to the valley quickly without having to push.

Powder snow

Unfortunately, the clouds were hanging quite low in the summit area and moistened the snow very slightly. Fortunately, the terrain had not yet seen the sun. Still pretty good, but no longer in the same league as last week.

Risks

South-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Unfortunately, the wind made itself felt in the summit area and shifted the snow slightly, so we decided against a steeper option as there was a lot of drift snow near the crest. Fortunately, after a few meters of descent, the wind was no longer noticeable. LWS 3 for >1600 m, below LWS 1

Another quick afternoon outing with usable conditions. Let's wait and see what the rise in temperature and the sun will do this week...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
