There was a lot of snow today, 25cm at the bottom, massively more at the top thanks to the heavy stau. We drove down to the parking lot, one contact with the enemy at 12.00 noon - where it has never been without it all winter.... will certainly be completely different tomorrow.
Snow quality
The 4 stars are awarded until 10.00 a.m., when it was still dusty, even though it didn't reach the face shot, really great. After that, it soaked through extremely quickly due to the sun, then it was damp cardboard.
Risks
Wet snow slide in steep terrain, snow slab slid off the grass at one point.
Overall impression
In the morning when the end-of-April pow in Bavaria.... was really good. Round of 5 skins then wheat beer at the hut.
