Snow condition
Just enough that you can ski down without stones, but only if you stay on the frozen slope. Ridges are gravelly. And on some exposures there seems to be no snow at all.
Snow quality
Cheeky Haxnbrecher snow. Hard frozen and therefore gentle on the surface. My edges, which have already been repaired 3 times, were not happy at all. But it's still fun and trains the musculoskeletal system for less rosy days.
Risks
There were no avalanches today. Too little snow, unfortunately.
Overall impression
I don't think I've ever given a star but today is the day. The scenery is quite nice and wintry, but compared to the south, it's just bleakly under-snowed here at the moment. But to put it positively: there is a good base for the next snow, especially in the snow-covered area of the Rosskopf.
