Snow report Upper Black Forest, 01/10/2015
Very little snow on the Feldberg. Last night and then from midday today the snow started to fall, let's hope that there will be more this week and that it won't all rain away again. It would be sorely needed.

Bad. Unfortunately, the rain of the last few days has eaten up almost all the snow. Thanks to the new snowfall last night, the 2-seater chairlift and the Resilift on the Seebuck could be put back into operation with difficulty. But touring is still out of the question...
Snow quality
First slush from yesterday. The snow from midday today was light and quite nice to look at, but far too little for a usable base.
Risks
Extremely windy the last few days, unfortunately no snow and therefore probably no avalanches. But I couldn't get a picture as I was only at Seebuck.
Overall impression
First (half) day of skiing in the Black Forest. Pretty poor, but that's what I expected. Hopefully we'll get a good load of snow soon, otherwise winter will be over very quickly...
