Great snow conditions, you can get down everywhere wonderfully. At the bottom 1000m you'll find about 50-60cm of fresh snow, further up you'll even get a meter of snow in some places (with snow drifts).
Snow quality
The snow was really fun today. In some places, however, the snow was a bit heavy and sometimes it wasn't easy to ski, and during the ascent and descent you sometimes came across the old layer of snow on the ground, which was quite icy.
Risks
With so much fresh snow, there is certainly a lot of danger ahead. Especially on the icy layer underneath, something can certainly slip off quickly, otherwise there are snow drifts on the summits, but on our tour today we felt very safe the whole time and saw few signs of any concrete danger.
Overall impression
Bombastic day in the Black Forest with some really great tree runs. On top of that, the weather was excellent, simply great.
As expected, all hell broke loose at the Belchen summit. But as soon as you leave the standard ski slope, you quickly regain your composure
