Snow condition
At least there was a cm of snow again, so in principle the standard Hochschwarzwald tours would make sense again. Thanks to the weather, however, the question is whether this will still be the case after Thursday. The snow cover is also fluctuating due to the drifts.
Snow quality
It must have rained right up to the top during the night. Accordingly, there is a crust of rain under the 5 cm from this morning. It's no fun to ride like this :(
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: medium
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Drift snow and the rain crust are not without their problems as far as I can tell today.
Overall impression
Well ... it wasn't worth it today. Working from home in the morning would have made more sense than spending a long evening working :(
