The snow conditions are currently good above 1100 meters above sea level, below that there is virtually nothing possible in the terrain. Every meter of altitude is currently noticeable, at the top the snow conditions are great, only the ridges are blown off by the wind.

The snow of the last few days has been very dry, unfortunately the amount is not that much and is around 20cm. The hard old ground still comes through occasionally.

Risks

The cornices above the Zaslterkessel are really mighty and look threatening, but as long as the conditions don't change they should hold. The fresh snow comes off completely on steep slopes. About 2 weeks ago, the gully directly above the Zastlerhütte went down, and judging by the tracks, it seems to be skiable again.

It was a beautiful day today and despite the large crowds I was still able to enjoy some nice runs in the fresh powder.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
