Blown backs

not bad for the black forest, but also not comparable to last winter. I think it is possible to start from 900m. we are from 1000los

Hard, pressed snow

it has rained up to the Feldberg. ergo you actually have piste (or similarly hard) underneath with a few centimeters of new, what has fallen from the trees... maximum

Risks

No warning signs
North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

there is certainly an "old snow problem" somewhere under the rain crust, as everywhere else. but overall very safe, w with exciting touring conditions. Lack of snow.

It's amazing! certainly much nicer in the Alps, but also certainly much more dangerous. I'll stay in the beautiful Black Forest and try to do what we did every day last winter, only there really was a lot more underfoot. Today it's all about soaking up the sun, vitamin D, sliding around a bit and otherwise avoiding DAV groups, because unfortunately there are a lot of them out and about. Finishing off with wheat and cheese spaetzle - oh how nice that the borders are open again and next time there will be more snow on the agenda :)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
